Trekking to Everest
Day 9: Everest (8,848 m), peering over the other mountains, on the approach to Everest Base Camp. The end of the Khumbu Icefall is clearly seen in the lower half of the photograph before it merges with the rest of the moraine-covered Khumbu Glacier.
